Yavin Shemuah, commentary on Halichot Olam by R. Yeshuah HaLevi, by R. Nissim Shlomo Algazi, and Talmudic principles by R. Yosef Karo. Livorno: Yaakov Nunez and Refael Meldola, [1792].

The book was given as a reward to a student for diligence in studying Talmudic principles, by the Or Torah society, apparently in Livorno.
Original elegant gilt-decorated leather binding, and original colorful endpaper. Gilt inscription on front of binding: "Reward for diligence in studying Talmudic principles", to "R. Avraham Binyamin Sananitz". Additional engraving on top of binding: "Or Torah Society" [a 1724 poem in honor of the Livorno Or Torah society is extant in manuscript in the National Library of Israel, former Valmadonna Collection, no. D45].
