Hanukkah Lamp Ornamented with Angel Figures and Wreaths – Italy - Hanukkah lamp. [Italy, ca. 18th century]. Cast brass. Backplate adorned with oak branches and acorns, at its center appears a braided circular wreath held by two angels standing atop a pair of marine creatures. Rectangular slot at the top of the backplate for the servant light (now missing). Row of elongated, pinched oil fonts affixed at front (soldered). Height: 15 cm. Width: 23 cm, depth: 6 cm. Overall good condition. Traces of soldering and a fracture to central wreath ornament.
