Sefer Gedolim Ma'asei Hashem - Passover Hagaddah - Venice, 1583
Sefer Gedolim Ma'asei Hashem, commentary on Biblical stories, including the Passover Hagaddah with commentary, by R. Eliezer Ashkenazi ben Eliyahu HaRofeh (the doctor). Venice: Zuan (Giovanni) di Gara, 1583. First edition.
Several ownership inscriptions: "Yaakov ben R. Moshe Eliezer Yitzchak Hakohen zt"l Shain"; "Yaakov Hirsch ben R. Avraham Leib Dayan of S---G community".
[6], 1-181, [1], 182-196 leaves. Final leaf missing. 27.5 cm. Condition of pages varies; good-fair. Stains and wear. Worming to several pages. Large tears to the title page, with damage to the border, repaired with paper. A tear damaging the text on one leaf. Tears with slight damage to text on several other leaves; repaired. Old binding, renewed.
The Hagadda is not listed by Ya'ari or Otzar HaHagaddot.
