Interesting Letter by the Chazon Ish - Regarding Etrogim Sent from Eretz Israel to Lithuania
Autograph letter signed by R. Avraham Yeshayahu Karelitz, author of the Chazon Ish, signed: "With love, Ish (Avraham Yeshayahu) Karelitz, Tzom Gedalya shall be changed to joy". [C. 1920s-1930s].
The letter is about selecting etrogim from Eretz Israel which were mutually purchased, and about "Hafrashat Terumot U'Maasrot".
Possibly, this letter was written at the time the Chazon Ish resided in the city of Vilna, before he moved to Eretz Israel in 1933.
Leaf, 12X21 cm. Approximately 7 lines handwritten in pencil by the Chazon Ish. Good-fair condition. Stains and wear. (Two letters are erased from one word, due to a dampstain).
