Silver Hanukkah Lamp – Morocco, Ca. 1920s-1930s - Silver Hanukkah lamp. [Morocco, ca. 1920s-1930s]. Silver, cut, repoussé, and engraved (unmarked); chased. Back plate cut to form tapering arch. Chased vegetal patterns. Openwork at center, cut to create Star of David (with additional, smaller, inclined Star of David in the middle) and geometric patterns. Servant light and row of oil fonts fastened with rivets, as is rectangular drip pan protruding from bottom of back plate. Suspension ring. Height: 22.5 cm. Width: 18.5 cm. Depth: 5.5 cm. Weight: 520 g. Overall good condition. Minor fractures and old soldering repairs. Loose attachment to servant light.
