Collection of Stamps and Stamp-Booklets of the JNF
Collection of postage stamps (paper labels) printed by the Jewish National Fund, the purchase of which constituted a donation to the JNF. [1911 to 1950].
Including: a booklet of "Western Wall" stamps (with an illustration of a worshiper beside the Western Wall, by E.M. Lilien), 1911; three complete booklets of Map of Jerusalem stamps, two red ones and one brown, 1950; two sheets of brown Alphabet (Names of settlements in Palestine) stamps, 1948; a memorial leaf marking the 100th anniversary of Max Nordau's birthday, with three JNF stamps bearing his portrait (1949) and a First Day Cover marking the 100th anniversary of his birthday. Enclosed is a postcard with photographs of JNF stamps.
Size varies. Good overall condition.
