A Collection of Six Assorted Early to Mid-20th Century Books and Manuals, including Bill Mauldin's 'Up Front' - A collection of six assorted books and manuals, predominantly from the early to mid-20th century. The collection includes ”Up Front” by Bill Mauldin, a 1945 fourth printing, presented as a brown cloth-bound hardcover featuring soldier illustrations. Also present is ”The Lineman's Handbook” by Edwin B. Kurtz, a 1942 second edition in burgundy cloth, which contains folded electrical transmission diagrams and a ”Lineman's Lingo” glossary, with additional ”Electrical World” data sheets from 1943. An orange softcover pamphlet titled ”Fort Monmouth History and Place Names 1917-1961,” dated 1961, displays the Latin motto ”PRO PATRIA VIGILANS” (For country, watchful).
