A Pair of Late 19th/Early 20th Century Oil Lamps, including a GWTW Style Parlour Lamp with P&A Mfg. Co. Burner - A pair of late 19th to early 20th-century oil lamps. The larger lamp, identified as a ”Gone With The Wind” (GWTW) style parlour lamp, features a white milk glass font with hand-painted floral motifs in pink, purple, and green. It is seated on an ornate, possibly cast brass or bronze-finished metal base. It is complete with a brass-toned burner, a twisted clear glass chimney, and a white milk glass shade. The burner is distinctly marked ”PAT D. FEB. 16. 97” and ”PATENT PENDING, ” with the thumbwheel further embossed ”P & A MFG. CO. WATERBURY. CONN. U.S.A.” The smaller lamp is crafted entirely from clear glass, comprising a handled font, a brass-toned burner with a visible wick, and a clear glass chimney adorned with a gold-toned, scalloped rim.
