Pair of Vintage Orthopedic Corrective Shoes with Denis Browne Bar and Body Belt - This lot presents a vintage orthopedic brace system, likely a clubfoot brace (Denis Browne bar), accompanied by corrective shoes and a separate body belt. The pair of open-toe, ankle-high shoes are constructed from dark brown leather with lighter leather interiors and layered soles, secured by dark laces. They are joined by an adjustable white-coated metal bar, attached to the shoe soles, featuring silver-toned metal components with discernible angle markings, including '45'. The separate component is a light tan leather belt with darker brown leather straps and metal fasteners, centrally adorned with two large, rounded attachments: one is covered in worn, scuffed tan leather, while the other appears to be a dark gray/black, possibly rubber or composite material, with a metallic inner ring.
