Two Royal Delft Polychrome Earthenware Dishes and Three Delftware Style Tiles - This lot comprises two pieces of Royal Delft tin-glazed earthenware and three Delftware style ceramic tiles. The first piece is a multi-lobed, scalloped decorative plate, featuring polychrome decoration of two birds amidst abundant floral motifs and geometric patterns in blue, green, yellow, brown, and orange on a white ground. Its reverse bears blue handwritten marks including ”Delft, ” a stylized ”APK” or ”APL” mark, ”931,” ”RRO, ” and ”CN, ” consistent with Royal Delft production. The second is a deeply fluted and scalloped shallow bowl or dish, decorated with predominantly orange and blue floral designs with touches of green on a white ground. Its reverse displays a ”Delft” inscription, the same stylized ”APK” or ”APL” mark, ”742,” ”RWH, ” ”CR, ” and a label reading ”De Porceleyne Fles Delft - Holland, ” confirming its Royal Delft attribution. The three ceramic tiles, each depicting a blue and white sailing ship motif with corner flourishes and a light blue patterned background, feature a ridged reverse.
