Shawnee Pottery 'Granny Ann' Figural Teapot, circa 1940s - A Shawnee Pottery 'Granny Ann' figural ceramic teapot, circa 1940s. The teapot is molded and decorated with polychrome glazes to depict a woman in traditional attire. It features a cream-colored body with a green apron detailed with red trim, a yellow bodice, and a green cape. The removable lid forms the woman's head, complete with a white, red-dotted head covering and a red bow. A yellow woven basket detail is integrated on the side, near the spout. The base is impressed with the text ”PATENTED, ” ”Granny Ann, ” and ”USA.” Height: Approximately 7.5 inches Small chips are present to the lower edge of the green apron. A dark vertical drip mark or hairline is visible on the right side of the main body.
