A Collection of Nine Late 20th and Early 21st Century Commemorative Items, Including Pewabic Tiles, Medallions, and an Acrylic Block - A collection of nine commemorative items, primarily from the late 20th and early 21st centuries. The group includes three glazed ceramic tiles: a 2004 green square Pewabic tile commemorating ”Michigan State University 1855-2005” with a relief depiction of a building; a white square tile adorned with a colorful transfer-printed campus scene and ”Michigan State University”; and a 1986 teal round Pewabic tile featuring a relief logo and ”Michigan Council for the Arts, ” with further inscription on the reverse ”Founded June, 1966.” Also present is a clear acrylic block engraved with ”AMERICAN PSYCHOLOGICAL FOUNDATION 1953 - 2003.” The collection contains five metal medallions: a large bronze-tone medallion for the ”COLLEGE OF SOCIAL SCIENCE MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY” depicting a building; a bronze-tone medallion set into a wooden plaque for ”Wright State University School of Professional Psychology, ” dated ”JUNE 13, 1997”; and three additional medallions. These three, two bronze-tone and one gold-tone, feature a classical female profile with the Greek text ”ΨΥΧΗ” (Psyche) on one side, and on the reverse, a stylized Psi symbol with the inscription ”AMERICAN PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION 1892 1992 A CENTURY OF SCIENCE AND SERVICE.” Green Pewabic tile: 4 inches square All items appear to be in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear consistent with age and display. No chips, cracks, or significant damage observed.
