A Pair of Vintage Blacklight Posters, including Art Bevacqua's 'Patience My Ass! I'm Gonna Kill Something!' and 'Time Warp' - A pair of vintage paper blacklight posters. The first, designed by Art Bevacqua and published by Sunset Marketing, Inc. L.A. California in 1971, depicts two vultures observing a desert landscape with a bright sun, bearing the bold caption ”PATIENCE, MY ASS! I'M GONNA KILL SOMETHING!”. It is further marked ”©1971 PRINTED U.S.A.”, ”D283”, and ”Vultures”. The second, published by Pro Arts, Inc. Medina, Ohio, U.S.A. in 1970, is a geometric abstract print featuring a vibrant, multi-colored starburst pattern composed of intricate lines on a dark background, with an imprint reading ”TIME WARP ©1970” and the number ”88”. Each approximately 22.5 x 34.5 inches. Both posters exhibit signs of age including edge tears, creasing, pinholes, surface abrasions, and general paper discoloration. The 1971 poster also shows notable water staining on its reverse.
