A Pair of Mid 20th Century Nemadji Pottery Swirled River Clay Vases - A pair of Nemadji Pottery swirled river clay vases, each featuring a distinctive marbled slip decoration. The vase on the left displays earth tones of brown, orange, and cream, while the vase on the right incorporates similar brown and cream tones alongside blue and grey. Both pieces exhibit a matte, unglazed finish. Their bases are marked with a circular stamp, which on the right vase clearly reads ”NEMADJI Indian River Handmade USA POTTERY” and includes a canoe graphic. The stamp on the left vase is similar but partially obscured. Height: 19 cm Good overall condition. Minor surface wear consistent with age and use. No apparent chips, cracks, or repairs.
