A Pair of Betty Selby Pueblo Hand-Painted Southwest Stoneware Pottery Vase and Bowl - A pair of Betty Selby Pueblo Hand-Painted Southwest Stoneware Pottery pieces, comprising a small, ovoid vase with a narrow neck and a wider, shallow bowl. Both items feature a consistent Southwest desert style, decorated with hand-painted motifs of cacti (some with raised, textured green details), desert plants, birds, and a sun against a light tan, unglazed ceramic body, with brown painted bands forming ground lines. The vase has a dark brown glazed rim. The underside of the vase is signed ”Betty Selby” and dated ”© 1983”, also showing a ”321” inventory mark in black. An accompanying paper label identifies them as ”Pottery Originals by Betty Selby, ” described as stoneware pottery hand-painted in her exclusive design of the Southwest Deserts. Vase height: 4.5 inches Bowl diameter: 9.5 inches Both pieces appear to be in good overall condition. The bowl's interior shows some light residue or discoloration consistent with use. No visible chips, cracks, or repairs.
