Aardvark Canada Carved Soapstone Puffin Birds, 1972, and a Carved Stone Kiwi-like Bird - A pair of carved bird figurines. The first is a vintage Aardvark Canada carved soapstone sculpture depicting two puffin birds, one larger behind a smaller, resting on a textured base. This piece is crafted from dark grey/black stone with both polished and matte finishes and is marked ”AARDVARK / 1972 CANADA” on its underside. The second figurine is a dark green, polished stone sculpture of a kiwi-like bird with a ribbed back, appearing to be carved from jade or serpentine. The kiwi-like bird measures approximately 3.5 inches long. The two-bird piece measures approximately 4.5 inches wide. Both items are in good overall condition with no obvious chips, cracks, or significant damage observed.
