Signed McKinney Studio Art Glass Cobalt Cylinder Vase, Dated 1993 - A single studio art glass cylindrical vessel, signed and dated 1993 by McKinney. The heavy, handblown vessel is executed in thick cobalt blue glass. The surface decoration, reminiscent of the 'Blanket Cylinder' style, features a broad, textured band covering the lower two-thirds of the body. This band is composed of applied opaque orange and gold glass frit, interspersed with dark teal and black swirling trails. The top rim remains solid cobalt blue and is fire-polished. The base is polished, featuring a visible pontil scar. Measures 9 inches tall. Excellent overall condition. No chips, cracks, or structural damage observed. Minor shelf wear consistent with age visible on and near the base and rim.
