A Trio of Polished Dark Serpentine Marble Decorative Objects, Taiwan - A trio of carved and polished decorative objects executed in dark marble or serpentine, displaying black, gray, and deep emerald green veining. The set consists of a central vase or urn and a flanking pair of matching columnar candlesticks or taper holders. The forms are traditional and molded, featuring stepped circular bases and tiered bodies. The central piece has a cylindrical midsection beneath a flared, vase-like neck. The two candlesticks have tall, slender shafts topped by wide sconces. The underside of the central piece retains a yellow sticker reading MADE IN TAIWAN. The bases of the flanking pieces retain remnants of protective felt and paper pads. Candlesticks approx 18.5 cm tall. Vase approx 20 cm tall.
