The object is constructed from a milky white, translucent stone, identified as likely alabaster or onyx, exhibiting natural swirling veins throughout the structure consistent with carved stone material. The form features a flared, trumpet-shaped rim above a tapering central body, separated by a collar, and resting upon a stepped circular foot. The underside of the foot is covered with a worn, dark brown protective layer, upon which faint inventory markings or inscriptions are handwritten in black ink, including the sequence 7.98 and partial text starting with W.
