Metropolitan Museum of Art MMA Looped Art Glass Vase - A single art glass vase attributed to the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MMA) reproductions, featuring a design inspired by mid-century Murano glass, often associated with Seguso. The hand-blown vessel is crafted from translucent seafoam green or light turquoise glass and features an everted rim and a low, circular pedestal foot. The internal decoration consists of vertical, undulating threads of opaque white glass, creating a stylized looped or fenicio pattern. The underside of the foot contains a molded inscription in raised lettering reading ”MMA.” The construction exhibits characteristics typical of hand-blown glass, including small internal air bubbles. Measures approximately 4.5 inches in height.
