The object is constructed from thick, mottled glass exhibiting swirls of aqua blue-green, teal, and amber/olive coloration. The glass features numerous small internal bubbles (vesicles) consistent with the hand-blowing process. A clear, looped glass hanging hook is fused to the top, secured by a narrow coil of darker glass at the neck. The base features a flattened area corresponding to a pontil mark.
