A Macchia Style Hand-Blown Art Glass Bowl in Yellow and Cranberry - A single hand-blown art glass bowl executed in the Macchia style, featuring a ruffled, organic rim and a star-shaped profile. The glass exhibits a controlled spotted decoration, likely achieved through the application of colored frit or murrine. The decoration utilizes two primary colors: opaque bright yellow or chartreuse dots layered over a deep cranberry or reddish-purple base. The yellow coloration dominates the exterior surface and the rim, while the cranberry color is more prominent within the interior basin. The object is finished with a highly polished surface and features a distinct pontil mark on the underside of the base, consistent with mid-20th century or later studio glass techniques.
