A Collection of Four United States Clad Eisenhower Dollar Coins - A collection of four United States One Dollar coins, commonly known as Eisenhower Dollars or Ike Dollars. These coins are struck in a clad composition, typical of non-silver issues from the mid-1970s era. The obverse features the profile bust of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, designed by Frank Gasparro, surrounded by the inscriptions LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST, along with the date. The reverse depicts an eagle landing on the moon, symbolizing the Apollo 11 mission, surrounded by UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ONE DOLLAR, and E PLURIBUS UNUM. The dates present in this lot include 1974 (two items), 1976 (one item), and 1978 (one item). Circulated condition consistent with extended use. All coins display heavy surface wear, significant loss of luster, and numerous contact marks and scratches across the fields and devices. There is visible environmental residue, dirt, and spotting, particularly noticeable on the obverse portraits. The edges show the typical copper layer of clad composition.
