A Collection of Six Circulated US Silver Coins & One Buffalo Nickel - A collection of six United States coinage items, primarily composed of 90% silver issues from the mid-20th century. The collection includes one 1948 Franklin Half Dollar, one 1964 Washington Quarter with a visible D mint mark, one 1947 Mercury Dime, one 1946 Roosevelt Dime, and one 1920 Mercury Dime. Also included is one Buffalo Nickel with an illegible date due to wear. The silver coins display standard US mottos including LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST. The overall composition is mixed silver alloy coinage and one copper-nickel alloy coin. All coins display moderate to heavy circulation wear consistent with Fine to Very Fine grades, with significant loss of detail, surface scratches, and dark, heavy toning or tarnish across the group. The 1920 Mercury Dime is heavily damaged, exhibiting a severely misshapen and irregular rim. The Buffalo Nickel date is completely worn away. The 1964 Washington Quarter and 1946 Roosevelt Dime show evidence of surface marks or possible minor environmental damage.
