French Miniature Art Deco Black Amethyst Glass Perfume Bottle - This French miniature perfume bottle features a rectangular body of black amethyst glass, which appears opaque black under normal lighting. The glass is encased in a silver-tone metal decorative overlay executed in a diamond-lattice pattern with raised floral motifs. The matching metal cap is designed with a crown-like filigree band and is inset with a circular blue cabochon. The base of the bottle is embossed with the mark MADE IN FRANCE. This style of petite flacon is characteristic of French production from the Art Deco period, circa 1920s-1930s. Height: approximately 1.25 inches
