A 20th Century South Asian Brass and Copper Decorative Box with Cobra Finial - A small, circular decorative box constructed from a yellow metal alloy with a copper cobra finial on the lid. The cobra is depicted with a flared hood showing stylized facial markings and is coiled at its base. The lid surface is embellished with raised, cast scrolling foliate designs on a textured ground, while the side of the base features a banded decorative pattern. The interior of the base is lined in deep purple velvet. Height: Approximately 1.5 inches
