A Chinese Famille Verte Porcelain Vase - A Chinese Famille Verte porcelain vase. This item features an ovoid body with a flared neck and a gilt-edged rim, finished in a cream-colored crackle glaze. The exterior is intricately hand-painted with polychrome enamels and gold highlights. Decorative motifs include a seated scholar and child, a red-crowned crane, bamboo, and flowering branches, with blue scrollwork bordering the neck and base. Height: 9.5 inches The vase is in overall good condition. It exhibits intentional glaze crazing throughout and minor rubbing to the gilt highlights. There is a small visible nick on the outer edge of the rim.
