1963 Jim Beam Delft Blue Ceramic Spirit Decanter - A Jim Beam Delft Blue ceramic spirit decanter in a ewer form, dated 1963. The vessel is constructed from opaque white ceramic finished with a faint celadon-tinted glaze. The obverse features a blue transfer-printed illustration of a sailing ship set within a stylized border. The reverse is decorated with an embossed relief scene of a traditional Dutch windmill. The bottle includes its original scrolled handle and a matching bulbous ceramic stopper with a cork seal. The base is embossed with the inscription FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE OR RE-USE OF THIS BOTTLE, accompanied by the alphanumeric codes D-334 and 119 7 63. Height:13.5 inches The item is in good overall condition. There is minor surface residue and small patches of adhesive remains on the neck and body. The ceramic body and stopper show no visible cracks or significant chips. The cork on the stopper shows wear consistent with age.
