Two Royal Doulton Porcelain Figurines Mary Had a Little Lamb HN 2048 and Babie HN 1679 - Two hand-painted bone china figurines produced by Royal Doulton. The first figurine, titled Mary Had a Little Lamb (model HN 2048), depicts a seated girl in a lavender dress with a blue sash and headband, cradling a white lamb. The underside bears the green Royal Doulton lion and crown backstamp, the title, a copyright date of 1948, and multiple registration numbers. The second figurine, titled Babie (model HN 1679), features a standing girl in a flared pink and green dress with a purple bonnet and a small red parasol. The base of this figurine includes the green Royal Doulton backstamp and the printed title. Both items are finished with a high-gloss glaze and vibrant polychrome enamel decoration.
