A Pair of Kaiser Alka-Kunst West German Porcelain Beer Steins No. 359 - A pair of West German porcelain beer steins manufactured by Kaiser (Alka-Kunst). Each vessel is constructed of white glazed porcelain and features hand-painted wrap-around illustrations depicting traditional Bavarian scenes. One stein shows a tavern interior with men drinking and musicians, while the other depicts a nocturnal street scene with figures and lanterns. The steins are equipped with hinged, grey-toned metal lids featuring distinct thumb lifts, one in an acorn motif and the other in a ball style. The undersides bear the blue-stamped Kaiser maker mark with the AK crown logo, the designation W. Germany, and the model number 359. One piece retains a gold foil label marked handgemalt. Height: 6-7 inches Both items are in good overall condition with minor signs of handling. The metal hardware exhibits a natural patina consistent with age. No chips, cracks, or significant wear to the porcelain or painted decoration are observed.
