(A.J.C.) and Jonette Jewelry Co. (J.J.). The group is constructed from gold-toned and silver-toned base metals, with several pieces featuring decorative accents such as green and clear rhinestones, black and white enamel, and faux pearls. Notable designs include an anthropomorphic cat in a tuxedo with glasses holding a dangling mouse over a dinner plate, a cat observing a goldfish in a clear acrylic fishbowl, and various stylized feline silhouettes in seated and standing poses. Visible maker marks on the reverse include copyright symbols for JJ, A.J.C., and A.J.M.C. Largest brooches measure approximately 3 to 4 inches in height. Items are in good overall condition, exhibiting minor surface wear and light oxidation consistent with age and use. Pin mechanisms are functional.
