Vintage Costume Jewelry Cameo Brooches and a Stick Pin Inc Avon - A collection of mid-to-late 20th-century costume jewelry cameos in classical revival styles. The group consists of several oval-shaped brooches and a stick pin featuring molded resin or plastic relief designs of classical female profiles and floral motifs. The cameos are presented in various color schemes, including cream-colored figures set against backgrounds of peach, pink, terracotta, and black. The metal settings range from simple gold-tone bezels to more ornate, openwork filigree and scrolled frames in gold and silver tones, with some pieces accented by faux pearls. Notable markings include AVON stamped on the reverse of the stick pin and one brooch. The items are constructed with base metal settings and standard pin-back or stick pin fasteners.
