A Pair of Vintage Mayfair Space Maker Style Portable Audio Units Model EG.301 - A pair of vintage Mayfair portable audio units, Model EG.301, featuring the mid-century modern Space Maker aesthetic. The set includes a primary control unit and a matching companion speaker. Both units are housed in bright green and off-white slatted plastic casings with brushed metal face plates. The primary unit contains a four-position selector dial and a volume control knob, while the companion unit features a single volume knob. Internal labels on the primary unit identify the model as EG.301 and indicate manufacture in Hong Kong. The companion unit contains an internal speaker marked Foster and Taiwan. The primary unit is equipped with a rear battery compartment for six C-cell batteries. Speaker component says 8 track player, but am no seeing where an 8 track would go. The units show minor surface wear and light discoloration to the plastic housings consistent with age and use. The metal faceplates exhibit faint surface scratches. The lot is in overall good vintage condition. Functionality is untested.
