The front displays a tiered dark plastic escutcheon housing an illuminated multi-band dial marked Airline Superheterodyne. This dial includes regional indicators for East, Cent, and West, as well as an Amateur Code Band with instructions regarding voice transmission regulations. The unit is equipped with original control knobs and three vertical wooden bars over the speaker grille cloth.
