RCA Victor Model K60 Console Radio - This item is located on the second floor. This RCA Victor model K60 is a 6-tube console radio dating to approximately 1939. The unit is housed in a floor-standing wooden cabinet with dark-toned wood veneers. The front interface features an illuminated glass dial displaying international, domestic, and special service bands, accompanied by four control knobs and a row of station preset pushbuttons. Below the control panel is a textured speaker grille with a wave-patterned fabric. The internal chassis is marked model RC415 and contains vacuum tubes and a large speaker unit stamped RL-70H-6. Original paper labels are affixed to the chassis, including instructions for television and record player connections and a service label from a repair dated February 11, 1949. 38 x 25.75 x 13 inches The wooden cabinet shows significant surface wear, including widespread scratches, areas of finish loss, and several prominent water rings on the top surface. One station preset pushbutton is missing from the front panel. The unit remains in unrestored, original condition. Electronic components are untested.
