Philco Model E-818 Twin Speaker Mid Century Modern Tube Radio - This item is located on the second floor. This Philco Model E-818 tabletop vacuum tube radio features a mid-century modern design with a dark brown wood-veneered cabinet and a coordinating molded plastic front panel. The horizontal layout includes a central illuminated tuning dial window flanked by two ribbed control knobs. The front is finished with gold-tone text reading PHILCO and TWIN SPEAKER. The rear of the unit retains an original paper label specifying power requirements of 115 Volts and 45 Watts, an IF frequency of 455 KC, and a tube complement diagram including 12BA6, 12BE6, 12AV6, 25F5, and 35W4 tubes.
