Truetone Model D 699 Console Tube Radio - A Truetone Model D 699 floor console tube radio, manufactured for Western Auto Stores, circa 1938. The wooden cabinet exhibits Art Deco and Streamline Moderne styling with tiered, rounded molding and a central speaker grille featuring three vertical wooden bars over a fabric mesh. Measures 39 x 22 x 12 inches Fair antique condition. The wooden cabinet exhibits visible surface scuffs, scratches, and areas of finish loss, particularly at the tiered edges and base. Powers on, otherwise untested.
