Zenith Art Deco Console Radio - Zenith Model 8S463 chassis 5808 three-band console tube radio, manufactured by the Zenith Radio Corporation circa 1940. The Art Deco period wooden cabinet features a stepped-top design with rounded shoulders and a lower section with vertical wooden slats. The rear of the unit exposes a metal chassis bearing a silver-tone plate marked Zenith Radio Corp., Made in U.S.A. with serial number S501193. Measures 42 x 26 x 15 inches The cabinet exhibits significant visible wear, including scuffing, scratches, and finish loss across the wood veneer. The original wiring shows brittle and cracked insulation, therefore is sold as is and is untested.
