Model 1965 Art Deco Console Radio - An antique floor-standing console radio, Model 1965, manufactured by Colonial Radio Corporation for Sears, Roebuck and Co. as indicated by the chassis marking COL. S.R. and Co. The wooden cabinet features Art Deco styling with book-matched veneers and a geometric fretwork speaker grille over a fabric backing. Measures 37 x 23 x 12 inches The item is in unrestored condition with significant wear to the wood finish, including scratches, scuffs, and loss of veneer at the base and corners. All external control knobs are missing. Internal components show accumulation of dust and oxidation. The power cord is frayed. The unit is untested and sold as-is.
