Unattributed, Crackle Glass Marble Collection, Tri-Color Assortment, Late 20th Century - This collection consists of a series of machine-made glass spheres featuring a distinctive crackle finish, often referred to in the trade as fried marbles. The assortment is presented in three primary colors: honey amber, aquamarine blue, and deep burgundy red. The crackle effect is achieved through thermal shock during the manufacturing process, resulting in a complex network of internal fissures while the outer surface remains polished and smooth. These spheres are commonly used for decorative purposes or as collectible game pieces. Individual spheres measure approximately 15.3 mm in diameter. The items appear to be in excellent condition.
