Mega Marbles Meteor Iridescent Glass Player Marbles, Late 20th Century - This collection features a large assortment of machine-made glass player marbles from the Mega Marbles Meteor line. Each sphere is finished with a distinctive metallic iridescent coating, often referred to as an oil-slick or Milky Way finish, exhibiting vibrant hues of cobalt blue, deep purple, gold, and emerald green. These marbles were manufactured by Vacor de Mexico and distributed under the Mega Marbles brand, becoming a staple of marble collecting in the late 1990s. The lot consists of a high-volume quantity of standard-sized specimens. Measurements: Diameters range from approximately 0.624 to 0.633 inches. The marbles are in good vintage condition, displaying a high-gloss finish with minor surface abrasions and superficial wear consistent with age and handling.
