The piece is constructed of sterling silver and features a central oval cabochon of reddish-orange spiny oyster shell. This central stone is secured in a serrated bezel setting and is encircled by a twisted wire rope detail. The center is flanked by two smaller, round green cabochons, likely turquoise or variscite, each held in a serrated bezel setting. The band is designed with a split-shank where it joins the central mounting.
