Kenneth Jay Lane Reversible Rhinestone Maltese Cross Brooch - A Kenneth Jay Lane (KJL) ornate costume jewelry brooch designed in the form of a stylized Maltese cross or cross pattee. The piece is constructed from gold-toned base metal with an openwork filigree design featuring rope-textured borders and scrolling motifs. The brooch is accented with numerous colorless round-cut rhinestones set into the four primary arms and the four intermediary V-shaped sections. The center features a raised, domed circular boss pavé-set with a cluster of similar colorless stones. The reverse of the brooch displays a textured bark-like finish and includes an oval plaque stamped with the mark ©KJL. The pin mechanism consists of a horizontal pin stem with a safety rolling-over C-clasp. 2.25 inches by 2.25 inches.
