Vintage Gold-Tone Green Glass Fur Clip & Belt Buckle - Each is constructed from gold-tone base metal with a matte and brushed finish and textured detailing. The design consists of a central multi-petaled flower head flanked by two veined leaves. Each is set with two emerald-green glass cabochons: a circular stone in the flower center and a larger oval stone at the base of the stems. These items are attributed to the United States and date to the Art Deco to Retro transition period, circa late 1930s to early 1940s. Oval-frame clip: 2 inches L x 1.375 inches W Pointed-frame clip: 2.375 inches L x 1.375 inches W. The items are in good vintage condition with moderate wear to the gold-tone finish revealing the base metal underneath in some areas, and a natural aged patina. The oval-frame clip is missing the spring-tensioned hinged component of the closure mechanism. The glass cabochons are secure.
