Robert Hanke Austrian Porcelain Floral Ewer with Gilded Scroll Handle - A porcelain ewer manufactured by the Robert Hanke factory in Austria. The vessel features a tall, slender form with a lobed, bulbous body, a long tapering neck, and a flared, wide-mouth spout. It is accented by an elaborate gilded scroll-work handle and sits on a circular pedestal base. The underside of the base contains several marks including a red stamped oval containing the words MADE IN AUSTRIA, a red scalloped circular mark containing the letters RH, and a third distressed red stamp depicting a stylized crown. Height: Approximately 12 inches The item is in good condition overall, commensurate with age. There is visible rubbing and wear to the gilded surfaces, most notably on the rim of the spout and the high points of the handle. Several light surface scratches are visible on the glazed body. The unglazed foot ring shows typical shelf wear and some minor darkening. No chips, cracks, or evidence of professional restoration were observed.
