Southeast Asian Hand Carved Hardwood Elephant Motif Vase - This decorative vase is crafted from a dense, dark-stained hardwood. The vessel features a broad, flared, and rounded rim above a short neck, leading to an ovoid body. The exterior is decorated with a continuous, high-relief hand-carved scene depicting an elephant amidst tropical foliage, including stylized palm trees and star-shaped leaves. No maker marks, symbols, or signatures are present on the piece. Height: 6 inches The vase is in good vintage condition with a dark, lustrous finish. There are minor surface scuffs and small nicks consistent with age and handling, particularly evident along the edges of the flared rim. A light-colored residue or accumulated dust is present in the deeper recesses of the carved relief. The base shows light shelf wear.
