African Carved Ebony Decorative Spear Made in Tanganyika - This decorative spear is hand-carved from dense ebony wood and was produced in Tanganyika, East Africa, by the company afri-craft. The object features a finial carved as a stylized human head with a large, oval, fan-shaped crest detailed with fine diagonal incised lines. A small brass-toned metal ring is fixed to the reverse of the torso for wall mounting. Height: Approximately 36 inches The item is in good vintage condition. There is general surface wear, including minor nicks, light scratches, and scuffs throughout.
