Three Tibetan Style Filigree and Stone Inset Snuff Bottles - Three snuff or scent bottles designed in the Tibetan or Nepalese regional style. The bottles are constructed from a base metal with a silver-toned finish and decorated with elaborate wirework filigree. The central decorative motif on the faces of each bottle is a radiating sunburst or floral design, which is surrounded by scrolling foliate patterns. The vessels are inset with cabochon-cut stones in shades of turquoise-blue and coral-red. Each bottle has a tapered, flattened body and a cylindrical neck with a fitted cap. Two of the caps are attached to the bodies by decorative metal chains. One bottle features a side loop containing a slender, carved wooden applicator tool. The flat metal bases show no maker marks or inscriptions. Height: 5 inches. The items are in good vintage condition. The metal surfaces show an uneven dark patina and oxidation. One decorative chain is detached from its bottle. All stones are present and intact. The wooden applicator shows minor surface wear.
