Vintage Napier Aurora Borealis Rhinestone Brooch & Earrings - This mid-century costume jewelry set by Napier consists of a large spray brooch and a pair of matching clip-on earrings. The pieces are constructed from gold-tone base metal and set with faceted jet-black glass stones in marquise and teardrop shapes. Small, round Aurora Borealis (AB) rhinestones are interspersed throughout the design, providing iridescent accents. The reverse of the brooch bears a raised rectangular plaque marked with a copyright symbol and NAPIER. The earring clips are incised with NAPIER and PAT. PEND. Brooch: 2.5 inches long Earrings: 1.25 inches long. The set is in good vintage condition. All glass stones and rhinestones are present and appear original. There is light surface wear and minor oxidation to the gold-tone finish on the reverse of the pieces, consistent with age. The pin mechanism and earring clips are functional.
