Mexican Sterling Floral Brooch Maker DS Taxco 9.0 Grams - A vintage sterling silver brooch in a multi-layered floral motif. The design features textured petals with incised vein details and smooth, pointed petals. A central cluster of stamen is tipped with small beads, including one stamen finished with a coiled wire cone element. Two curved wires extend from the base to represent stems. The reverse side bears a circular struck hallmark. The center of the mark contains the initials DS. The perimeter of the stamp is marked TAXCO along the top arc, MEXICO along the bottom arc, and 925 on the right side. Length: Approximately 2 inches (51 mm) Weight: 9.0 grams. The brooch is in good vintage condition with wear consistent with age. Visible surface scratches and tarnish are present throughout the silver. The pin mechanism and rollover safety clasp are functional.
